Regenerative Gardening

Food Forest

Our two-acre food forest is home to around 40 fruit trees planted across 15 rows, with a diverse mix of fruits, vegetables, and flowers growing in the spaces between. This abundant landscape nourishes volunteers, community program participants, and partners in the greater Austin area.

At Casa De Miel, we believe nature isn’t here just to serve us—it’s our responsibility to care for it through restorative practices that support its flourishing. Our regenerative work also nurtures personal well-being, offering space for reflection, connection, and gratitude that extends beyond the land.

Education Garden

The Education Garden, nestled beside our main house, features a diverse array of crops throughout the year. It’s a welcoming space for engaging small groups in hands-on learning about the regenerative practices we use here at CDM.

Other

Other cultivated areas on the property include an apiary, cozy outdoor living room, several sensory gardens, and flower beds surrounding the main house. These spaces are filled with vibrant Texas native plants and pollinators, adding color, beauty, and charm—inviting all who visit to slow down and enjoy the magic of the land.
